This journey
will take you through majestic, unspoiled landscapes to fabulous game reserves where the dark continent's
incomparable wildlife is protected in its natural habitat. Watch for herds of impalas, Grant's gazelles
and African buffalo in the Samburu National Reserve. Stay close to the Ewaso Nyiro River where vast
herds of plains game, including the liver-red reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk antelopes and the
elegant Grevy's zebra, come to water, braving lions in the grass, leopards in the trees and giant
crocodiles. Your safari minibus holds a maximum of 7 tour members, so you are guaranteed a window seat, and

Your safari
will take you on a game ride in Masai Mara National Park, Kenya's best and most scenic game park. The
"Big Five" - lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo are all to be seen, as well as the cheetah.
You will also travel to Lake Nakuru, considered the finest place on earth for bird watching. In
Amboseli National Park, watch out for giraffes, cape buffalo, lions and elephants. You will also visit Lake
Manyara, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. At the Ngorongoro Crater, you will travel to the crater floor,
descending nearly 2000 feet into this extinct collapsed volcano to experience some of the most spectacular
game viewing. View vast herds of zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, and their predators, the big cats, as they

a full day of sightseeing in Cairo, including the fabulous Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids at Giza and the
enigmatic Sphinx. The medieval Citadel of Saladin and the alabaster Mohammed Ali Mosque are the final stops
on your tour of Cairo. Fly south to Aswan to board your luxury Nile cruise ship. Tour the awesome Aswan Dams
and an ancient granite quarry with an unfinished obelisk. Travel by motor launch to view the temples of
Isis and Hathor. Sail to Kom Ombo and the twin temple of Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon
