Your land
Tour host will greet you upon Galaxy's morning arrival. Enjoy a guided panoramic sightseeing tour by
motorcoach, stopping at the Vasa Museet, a magnificent museum displaying a warship from 1628. Visit the
cobblestone streets and shops of Gamla Stan, the Old Town, and enjoy lunch before checking into the Radisson
SAS Strand Hotel (or similar). Your evening if free to explore Stockholm, considered one of the most
beautiful of national capitals. Day 2: Travel by train to Copenhagen through an underwater
tunnel and the lovely Swedish countryside, with lunch in the dining car. The evening is yours to
explore the lively city of Copenhagen, once the home of Hans Christian Andersen. Stay overnight at the
Admiral Hotel (or similar). Day 3: A panoramic motorcoach tour takes you to see the famed
Little Mermaid sculpture and on to visit Rosenborg Castle. This Dutch Renaissance palace was built by
King Christian IV in 1607, and now houses the Danish Crown Jewels. Take a stroll down the Stroget,
Copenhagen's famous pedestrian street. Enjoy the afternoon and evening at your leisure.

Day 1: Paris Arrive at the airport and meet
your Land Tour host. Transfer by private motorcoach to the Hotel Holiday Inn
Republique (or similar). The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore.
Day 2: Paris In
the morning, enjoy a panoramic tour of the famous sights of Paris such as Notre Dame Cathedral, the Marais,
the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysees. Also visit the Eiffel Tower for a
wonderful view of the city. Spend the afternoon at your leisure. This evening, depart for
Montmartre and dinner in the Place du Tertre, a picturesque district where artists and writers have
traditionally gathered in the old village square. Day 3: Paris/Loire Valley/Paris
A
motorcoach tour of the beautiful Loire Valley includes a visit to the magnificently furnished Castle of
Cheverny. After lunch in Blois you'll explore the Castle of Chenonceau, a Renaissance palace created by
a series of aristocratic women including Catherine de Medici. Sample wines from Chenonceau's vineyards
before returning to Paris. Day 4: Amsterdam Depart on the high-speed train for
Amsterdam. Enjoy a canal boat sightseeing tour through the picturesque "waterway streets" of
Amsterdam. Also visit Rembrandt's House, where you'll gain insight into the life and works of one of
this city's most famous artists. Stay overnight at the Victoria Hotel (or similar).
Day
5: Amsterdam/Galaxy This morning, enjoy a brief drive through the city passing Dam Square,
the Royal palace, New Church, Vincent Van Gogh Museum and other sites. Also visit Anne Frank House,
where history is recalled in tracing the experiences of a 13-year old girl in Germany during World War
II. In the afternoon, transfer to the pier, where Galaxy awaits.

Day 1: Arrive at the Barcelona
airport or or pier and meet your Tour host. Transfer by motorcoach to the city for a panoramic
tour. You'll visit the medieval Gothic Quarter and the Cathedral, and drive by interesting city
highlights. Learn about the works of Antoni Gaudi, know for his modernist designs. Your afternoon
and evening are free for shopping, sightseeing and dining at your leisure. Stay overnight at the Fira
palace Hotel (or similar). Day 2: Enjoy your morning at leisure. Your host will see
that you're transferred to the airport for your flight home or to begin your cruise onboard
Millennium. |

Day 1: Arrive at the Barcelona
airport or or pier and meet your Tour host for transfer by motorcoach to the capital of Catalonia. Check into
the Fira palace Hotel (or similar). the rest of the day is free to explore the area and enjoy dinner at your
leisure. Day 2: Enjoy a panoramic motorcoach tour of Barcelona including a short walking
tour of the aristocratic medieval Gothic Quarter, unchanged since the turn of the century. You'll see
the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. After lunch your tour continues to Villafranca del Penedes, a busy
market town in the heart of Catalonia's mail wine-producing region. You'll visit the Wine Museum, in a
14th century palace, and sample the region's wines. After returning to Barcelona, you'll dine at a
local restaurant followed by a flamenco show. Day 3: A morning excursion takes you to
Montserrat to visit the Monastery high in the peaks of the "Serrated Mountains." In the
afternoon, transfer to the pier, where Millennium awaits. Note:
The post-cruise features the same destinations, with Montserrat and Villafranca del Penedes tours on Day
2. On Day 3, transfer to the airport. |
