Day 1 DEPART USA.
Your journey begins as you board your overnight transatlantic flight bound for Cape Town.
Day 2 ARRIVE CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA.
Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you
to explore on your own.
Day 3 CAPE TOWN.
Depart on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula, driving along the Atlantic seaboard via Hout Bay. Visit Cape Point
Nature Reserve and then stop to see the lovable penguins at Boulders Beach. Drive back to Cape Town through the
historic naval town of Simon’s Town. (B)
Day 4 CAPE TOWN.
After breakfast, walk down to the Nelson Mandela Gateway and board a ferry for your cruise to Robben Island. A
guided walking tour stops at the Maximum Security prison where leaders such as Nelson Mandela were imprisoned.
Continue to the northwest corner of the island, scene of many shipwrecks, and past the WWII military airfield.
Transfer by ferry back to Cape Town, where the balance of your day is free. (B)
Day 5 CAPE TOWN / WINELANDS.
You are taken on an exciting discovery of the beautiful Cape Winelands. Visit the quaint towns of Paarl,
Stellenbosch, and Franschhoek, stopping along the way for wine tasting at well-known estates. The lovely town of
Franschhoek, in the heart of the Cape Winelands, lies in a green valley surrounded by mountains. Your afternoon and
evening are free to stroll through town, admiring the 17th and 18th century architecture, with Cape Dutch, Cape
Cottage and Victorian style homes, or to enjoy the fine cuisine at one of the many restaurants. (B)
Day 6 WINELANDS / LEOPARD HILLS GAME RESERVE AT KRUGER.
Transfer to the airport for your flight via Johannesburg to Kruger National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met and
transferred to your private game lodge. Check-in and relax before departing on your first safari this afternoon.
Experience Africa’s wildlife from an open Land Rover with your game ranger sharing his intimate knowledge of the
bush. (B,L,D)
Day 7 LEOPARD HILLS PRIVATE GAME RESERVE - KRUGER.
A spectacular day in Kruger National Park. Start with a morning drive. If you are fortunate, you may be able to
spot a multitude of animals including lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard, cheetah, and wild dog, together with
a wealth of antelope, birds and reptiles. In the afternoon, depart on another thrilling game drive. All of your
meals will be served at your lodge. Another drive at sunset completes the day. (B,L,D)
Day 8 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK / JOHANNESBURG.
After your morning safari, travel to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Transfer to your hotel located in
the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. En route, you will enjoy an orientation drive of the city. Your evening is
free to enjoy the trendy shops and local restaurants. (B)
Day 9 JOHANNESBURG / USA.
A free day before your early evening transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home. (B)
Day 10 ARRIVE USA. You arrive home this morning.

Day 9 JOHANNESBURG / VICTORIA FALLS, ZAMBIA.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. Transfer to your hotel, then enjoy a
cruise on the Zambezi River aboard the African Queen. (B)
Day 10 VICTORIA FALLS.
Experience a tour of Victoria Falls from the Zambian side. Take your pictures of the Falls (discovered by David
Livingstone in 1855). Then visit the Mkuni village, where you can experience local African life, and the
Livingstone Museum. There is time to shop for spices and crafts at the Maramba market. Your afternoon is free and
your local host will have plenty of suggestions for things to see and do. (B)
Day 11 VICTORIA FALLS / JOHANNESBURG / USA.
With a free morning, perhaps take the optional "Flight of the Angels" for a bird’s eye view of the
Falls. Then transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight to Johannesburg and your onward international flight
home. (B)
Day 12 ARRIVE USA.
You arrive home today.
